Before, during and after this experience, you can expect to feel completely empowered and recognize your true beauty. I will coach you to pose from your head to your toes and capture you in the most flattering positions that fit your body type. You will be able to treasure your heirloom album, prints, and digital images for years to come!
What is the process to for Adore La Vie's Boudoir experience?
1) book your session
2) pre-consultation - phone, FaceTime, Skype
3) Adore La Vie's "Prep Guide" will be emailed to you to help you prepare for your session
4) day of session + in-person session reveal & ordering appointment
5) products ready for you to pick up (or be mailed to you)
What is the schedule on the day of the photo session?
You will arrive for your appointment (with clean / dry hair and clean face) at the time scheduled. There will be roughly and hour of hair and make up time and then roughly an hour for our photo session. After you session we will take a break and an hour later you will return to see your GORGEOUS images. You select the images you love, the package you love and the payment plan, if any, that suits your needs. This is only done in person and takes roughly an hour.
Can I bring a friend to my session?
I understand that some women want to bring a friend because they are nervous, however for clients who have brought a friend, they found that they couldn't freely be themselves. I do not recommend bringing any guests to your session. Children and pets are not allowed, as we have limited space and find the shoot goes much smoother without distractions. If you would like to share the experience with a friend and book your sessions together, we can accommodate that! Men are not allowed unless it is a couples' session.
Can I bring someone to the image reveal & ordering appointment?
For clients who have brought a friend, they found that they couldn't freely be themselves. This caused clients to second guess what images they love and this experience is for you, not your friend. However, if you must, you may bring one supportive female with you to the viewing. Please note that I only schedule one reveal and ordering appointment per client, so please make sure your guest can make the scheduled time. There are no men allowed during any part of the day unless it is a couples' session.
I don't think I can afford this.
I totally understand this is an investment and a well worth one, I might add. That is why I absolutely do offer payment plan options. One option is through Paypal Credit; you will need to be approved for this option. Another option is an in-house payment plan, both before your session and after. Every client has a "Boudie Bank Account" in which you have the option to pre-pay towards your session. What this means is if your session isn't for 6 months, you may start "saving" money into your account and then use that towards your products. Once you order your products, you may also go on a payment plan after your session. You can either pick the number of months you want your order back by, and your amount will be divided by those number of months OR you may dictate a monthly payment amount (no less than $150/month) and we will back out how many months it will take to be be paid in full. I know this is an expensive gift for yourself or another and that is why I make this super easy for you to say YES to yourself! This is an amazing, fulfilling, powerful and beautiful experience. If I need to, do you have outfits / lingerie that I can borrow?
YES!!!! I have my Bombshell Boudoir Closet in which clients may borrow anything they would like, for their session. I carry lingerie in a variety of sizes from XS - 4X. I also have accessories and some shoes for clients to borrow.
Where can I buy outfits?
You can be utterly sexy in an off the shoulder sweater and underwear. You do not need to buy lingerie to have a boudoir session! If you want to buy lingerie, there are a handful of places. Just do an online search and be sure to add your location for locations closest to you. I do offer a robust suggestion in my "Prep Guide". Once you book your session, I will email that to you! Also, be sure to have someone help you find something that fits properly and flatters your body!
Can I suggest ideas or props?
Absolutely! We can discuss this during our pre-consultation call.
Do you have accessories or props?
We do have a few items, however since you have a better idea of your style, we suggest you bring whatever you may think you would want. That being said, we do have flowy fabric such as tulle and silk charmeuse.
I'm super shy and am afraid I will look silly in my images.
Don't worry about any of that! I will instruct you on the poses that will make you look beautiful and sexy! I still make the shyest of women look an feel amazing!
I have a few friends interested in a boudoir session! Do you have specials or a referral program?
I sure do! If you and your friend(s) book together, I offer a $100 package voucher for you and $100 package voucher for your friend(s). Depending on the number of friends, sessions can be done the same day. This option is super fun because the fun factor definitely increases when you and your friend(s) can share the same experience!

A boudoir session is a personalized photo experience designed to capture your individuality and beauty, while giving you increased confidence, through intimate and sensual imagery. A boudoir photography session can range from sweet and soft images to suggestive and implied erotic images.
Do I need modeling experience to book a session?
Absolutely NOT! Every session is fully guided with expert posing and direction, so no prior modeling or posing experience is needed. The goal is to help you feel comfortable and confident throughout the process. You are never left wondering “am I doing this right?” because every position, pose, breath, bat of an eye, hand position, etc., is explained and demonstrated.
Who are boudoir sessions for?
Boudoir sessions are for every woman—regardless of age, body type, or experience. Whether you are giving the images as a gift to someone, these sessions are about self-love at the highest form! It’s about empowerment, celebrating yourself and feeling good in your skin, exactly as you are.
What should I wear for my session?
Bring more than you think you’ll need! You can bring lingerie, matching bra & panty sets, robes, oversized shirts, your partner’s sports jersey or any meaningful personal items. As an example, personal items from past clients have included books, baking items, food, whipped cream, deserts, video game consoles and joysticks, movie set props, flowers, military items, sports equipment, Halloween costumes, musical instruments, cowboy boots, cowboy hats, horseback riding chaps, and more! I also have a very extensive Boudoir Closet where I carry lingerie in many styles from sizes XS- 4X for you to borrow. I also have jewelry, bridal veils, bondage accessories and a small selection of shoes, for you to borrow! A variety of outfits is encouraged to create different looks during your shoot.
Will someone help me with styling and preparation?
Yes 100%! Before your session, you will have your pre-session planning call, where we will collaborate on everything from hair and makeup inspiration, styling and wardrobe ideas, posing ideas, tips, advice and more! This call is to make sure you feel excited and prepared to have an amazing boudoir session.
How long does a boudoir session take?
Your session day is a full service and luxury experience that lasts from 9:30 am to about 3:30 pm. The day includes professional hair and makeup from masters in their field, your photo session with me, a 1 hour break for you to have lunch, followed by your personalized viewing session where you get to select the images you want to keep. The process is designed to give you time to really feel relaxed, enjoy yourself, get pampered and excited for your session! If we need to, we can split the process into two days for our time-pressed clientele.
When will I see my photos?
You will see your images on your session day during your personal viewing and ordering appointment. You will typically see 80-120 images to select from. Quite a few clients come from out of town, so the process is designed to have you seeing your images the same day and not having to wait. All viewing and ordering appointments are in person and the same day as your photo shoot.
Will my photos be kept private?
That is 100% entirely up to you! Short answer is Yes, absolutely! You dictate if your images can be shared and what types of images. If you opt out of sharing your images, then your images will only be shared to my vendors for the sole purpose of printing any products you order. If you opt in to share your images, you may share what feels right for you. Options range from not sharing any images, to sharing all images – and everything in between. Your privacy is our top priority. Images are never shared without your explicit written permission and signature.
Can I book a session as a gift?
Yes of course! Boudoir sessions make a meaningful and unique gift. Book it for your partner, book it for a friend, book it for a bride to be, book it for a soon-to-be-mom or book it for anyone who would love it! All gift certificates come wrapped in a box and are an amazing gift to give!
How do I book a session?
OMG! We can’t wait to have you in the studio! You can book your session by filling out the contact form on the website. From there, you’ll be guided through the next steps, including a complimentary consultation and planning call. Check your spam folder to make sure you receive our emails! If you want instant communication, you are more than welcome to call or text at (424) 209-2776 as well. Texting generally is a better option since calls aren’t answered during sessions!
